Day 3 Ladies Classic
East Hamilton defeated Chuckey-Doak 72-52 in a loser’s bracket game Saturday morning.
The Hurricanes from Chattanooga took a 24-9 first quarter lead to set the stage for the win. The Lady Knights played much better the rest of the way, but could get no closer than 12 points after trailing 41-25 at intermission.
East Hamilton’s Madison Hayes continued her high-scoring ways, dropping in 30 points with nine rebounds and eight assists. Sister McKenna Hayes scored 11 and Dezah Lacy added 10.
The Lady Knights got 18 points from Earendia Davis, who also led on the boards with nine. Sierra Jaynes scored 17.
East Hamilton (7-9) will play in the 12 noon game Monday.
