ROCKCASTLE COUNTY TOPS TROJANS
Rockcastle County of Kentucky beat Morristown West 56-43 Saturday morning, pulling away in the second half of a well contested contest.
The Rockets got 17 points from Casey Coleman, 13 from Lindsey Jones and 11 from Keelee King. Hallie Brown grabbed 14 rebounds, scored eight and had six assists.
Morristown West shared scoring honors between Aliycia Ewing and Katie Wallen.
Rockcastle used a height advantage to post a 38-23 margin in rebounding and they got 30 points in the paint. The Rockets led 26-25 at halftime and moved up to 41-34 by the close of the third.
The Rockets (10-1) will play in the 1:30 p.m. game Monday.
