East Hamilton’s Mississippi State signee Madison Hayes poured in 27 points and yanked off 19 rebounds to lead the Hurricanes past Greeneville 71-54.
Hayes’ sister, McKenna, a sophomore, scored 17, while Dezah Lacy scored 13 and Eliziah Laboo 12 for a balanced East Hamilton attack.
Greeneville got another stellar effort from freshman Lauren Bailey, who scored 23. Dalana DeBusk netted 11 and Chloe Marsh got eight.
The Hurricanes were up 23-16 after one, but spread the gap in the middle two quarters, leading 40-28 at halftime and 57-38 after three.
East Hamilton advances to the sixth place game on Tuesday at 1:30.
