The Archer High Lady Tigers beat Chuckey-Doak 56-21 Monday morning, and will play again Tuesday in the consolation bracket against Cocke County at 12 noon.

Archer got 18 points from guard Cazia Nelson while Taniya McGowman tossed in 13 to lead the winners.

Chuckey-Doak was led by Sierra Jaynes with eight points and Earendia Davis with seven.

Archer led by only an 8-5 count at the first rest stop, but began pulling away in the second quarter and held a 32-14 lead by intermission.
