Upperman’s Lady Bees captured third place in the 2022 Ladies Classic, controlling Greeneville 53-38.
The Bees got off to a hot start and led 21-7 after one period. Greeneville could never seem to overcome that hot start. It was 29-16 at the half. The Devils got it back to within 10 but could not get closer.
Jayla Cobb led the victors with 16 points. Abigail Johnson scored 11 points and grabbed 12 rebounds. Gracie Butler scored 11.
Greeneville was led by Anna Shaw with 12 and she was the only Greene Devil in double digits.
