The Cardinals from Farmington, Ark., took fifth place in the tournament field, beating Bearden out of Knoxville 74-65.

Bearden went to the locker room at halftime ahead 35-31, but Farmington came out and controlled the third quarter, moving to a 53-43 lead by end of the period. Bearden got it back to within four points in the final stanza but could never overcome the Cardinals.

There were 25 3-point goals made in the game, 13 of them by Bearden.

The Cardinals got 23 points from Easton McCullough, who hit seven long ones. Marin Adams scored 22 and dished out seven assists. Kaycee McCumber added 15 and Zoey Bershers scored 11.

Natalya Hodge continued her high scoring ways for Bearden with 32 points, including seven from behind the arc. Kendall Anne Murphy scored 17.
