Webb School of Knoxville has earned the right to take on Marist (Ga.) in the championship game of the Ladies Classic after taking a 53-43 win over Spring Garden (Ala.) in the second tourney semifinal game Monday.

The Spartans got the boost they needed in the third quarter. Spring Garden trailed 23-22 at the half, but was able to pull into a 28-28 tie. Webb then outscored Spring Garden 13-7 to the end of the quarter to take a 41-35 lead. A scoring spurt of 10-2 to start the final period left them in charge 51-37 and take control of the game.

Spring Garden got it back to eight points with 2:33 left, but turnovers stopped any further charge.

Kyndall Mays scored 17 points and Cailyn Taylor netted 14 for the winners. Ace Austin pumped in 21 points and Maggie Jarrett added 14 for the team from Alabama.
