Oak Ridge pulled away from Providence Day School (NC) with a solid first half, leading 14-9 after one victory Thursday.

The Wildcats placed three players in double figure scoring, led by Ayana Porter with 18, Ze’Yana Stewart with 15 and Dimitria Strickland with 10. Jenna Johnson was tough on the boards, grabbing 14 rebounds.

Providence countered with a double-double effort by Jordyn Latter who had 15 points and 11 rebounds, while Jaida McClure dropped in 13.

Oak Ridge moves to the sixth place game Saturday at 12:30 p.m.
