The two Washington County rivals, David Crockett and Daniel Boone, faced off in an elimination game, and the Pioneers had no trouble advancing with a 73-53 triumph.
Crockett jumped up 18-12 after a quarter and gradually pulled away each of the following periods to grab a win. Brylee Tullock was chief gunner with 22 points and eight rebounds. Laney Britton scored 14 and Kayleigh Donor scored 12. The Pioneers knocked down 13 of 23 3-point shots in the contest.
Andrea Flores continued her high-scoring ways for the Blazers with 29 points. Averie Steadman put down 10 to assist.
