Webb School of Knoxville turned back Farmington, Ark., in another quarterfinal thriller, 58-54, earning themselves a berth in Monday night’s semifinal round.

The Spartans overcame a 44-41 deficit at the outset of the final quarter, scoring seven straight points to take a 48-44 lead and they never trailed again.

Farmington got back to within a point on two occasions, the final time being at 55-54 with 32 seconds to go. But the Spartans were able to improve the lead to 57-54 on two free throws by Meeyah Green with 34 seconds left. Farmington missed a shot, and a free toss by Kyndall Mays with 13 seconds to go sealed the deal.

Webb got 19 points from Meeyah Green and 12 apiece from Zahnyah Rockett and Kyndall Mays. Farmington was led by Easton McCollough with 16, Kaycee McCumber with 15 and Marin Adams with 10.
