The Lady Wolves of Spring Valley, West Virginia, held the lead basically the entire way against Daniel Boone, but could never seem to put them away until the final three minutes of the contest in a 63-52 victory.

The Blazers were within six points at 56-60 with 3:22 remaining in the game but could score just one bucket the rest of the way and the Wolves widened the gap.

Both teams were bothered by turnovers with the Blazers committing 18 and the Wolves 19 in the frantic-paced game that saw both teams keeping the ball running down the floor.

Sophie Hutchison led the way with 24 points and six assists despite sitting out much of the third quarter in foul trouble. Fellow guard Brooklyn Ellis scored 16, Ella Giles netted 10 and Allie Daniels had nine points and 11 rebounds.

Daniel Boone got a 21-point effort from Andrea Flores.
