Two teams from South Carolina wound up battling each other in an elimination game Tuesday afternoon, and Gaffney came away with a 67-57 victory over JL Mann.

Gaffney took a 20-9 first quarter lead and never trailed. They improved their advantage to 30-17 by intermission, then settled for basically basket-swapping in the second half.

Four players hit double figures for Gaffney, led by Shiriah Harris with 17 points. Lauren Mathis had 14, Kaylin Houze scored 12 and Tianiah Hopper had 10 points and 14 rebounds with four blocked shots. Gaffney hit 11 3-pointers in the contest.
JL Mann got a game-best 24 points from Imari Richardson. Annie Gilliam scored 15 and Jade Hailstock netted 11.
