Bartlett’s Lady Panthers from West Tennessee won the third place game in the Ladies Classic, turning back Webb School of Knoxville 78-54.
The Panthers led by a slender 13-12 margin after a quarter, but went to work in the second with a 25-9 run that lifted them to a 38-21 halftime advantage. Webb spent the rest of the game trying to recover, and they did chop it down to 12 points early in the fourth before Bartlett recovered and won going away.
Bartlett hit 10 of 16 3-pointers in the contest.
Carrington Jones led the way with 19 points and four assists for the Panthers. Morgan Williams hit five 3-pointers and tallied 16, while Dacarra Ward netted 10.
Webb School’s Lady Spartans had Cailyn Taylor with 14, Katelyn Overton with 13 and Kyndeall Mays with 11.
