Game 17 – North Greene 69, Chuckey-Doak 42

In a game which saw a combined total of 57 free throws attempted (34 by North Greene and 23 by C-D), the Lady Huskies of North Greene knocked off county rival Chuckey-Doak 69-42.

North Greene led by only 33-27 at halftime, but they salted the game away in the second half by outscoring the Knights 36-15 to win going away.

Hannah Miller continued her strong play for the Huskies with 23 points and 13 rebounds to lead NG. Haley Bailey scored 19 and had 12 boards to give the Huskies two players with double-double efforts. Loren Blevins chipped in with 10 points.

The Knights were led by Kennedy Brown with 12 points. Tavyn Southerland had nine rebounds to pace her team.

North Greene will play Daniel Boone Friday at 6 p.m. Chuckey-Doak will take on another county rival in South Greene in the 12 noon contest.
