Daniel Boone’s Lady Blazers defeated West Greene 59-32 in the first game of the day Tuesday.
The Blazers (6-8) turned in a strong first half effort, leading 25-5 after one quarter and 43-16 at intermission. West Greene (6-7) played much better in the final two quarters but the big first half deficit was too much to overcome.
Boone got 10 points each from Josie Jenkins and Maci Master. Eight points each from Lillie Walters and Camryn Sarvis gave the Blazers a balanced attack.
West Greene got eight points from Tayli Rader and six from Taylor Lawson.
The Blazers advanced to Friday’s 9:30 a.m. loser’s bracket finals, while West Greene will play again on Thursday at 9 a.m.
